♣ Spanish as a Foreign Language

Take a six credit language class WHERE you will study the Spanish structure, practice in an interactive setting, and become more accurate in your use of language. Also, take courses (3 credits) focused in improving oral and written communication skills. Learn through a variety of methods and meet experienced instructors with international backgrounds.

Mexico plays a vital role in the global business community. As an international student you may take an introductory business class especially designed for international students. Such as Doing Business in Mexico or Business Mexican Strategies, and do a business internship. You may also combine it with Spanish and culture classes and other courses taught by the Business Department. The Business Program helps you understand the varied cultures and values held by different trading partners – an essential component for successful negotiating in the international business world.
